Property DescriptionThe
Dragon Fly cabin is one of two cabins within SME’s Bear
Dance Lodge. The Dragon Fly has the largest sleeping capacity
of all of SME’s rentals and is popular with larger family
groups - particularly those with several children. This cabin
features three separate sleeping rooms, a large full bath, a
large full kitchen, a functional wood stove, a deck, and all
modern amenities. Like all of SME’s cabins, guests will
enjoy the warm ambience of the Dragon Fly with its exposed oak
timbers, European country decor, leather furniture, and antiques.
As part of the Bear Dance Lodge, the Dragon Fly offers the added
benefit of immediate access to the Blue Ridge Mountain views
of the observation tower and the old European charm of the Cantina.
Shadow Mountain Escape is a three Timber Frame Structures and is cleverly designed with no wall shared between the two independent dwellings. (SME) provides its guest with a completely unique environment provided by the beauty of the Shenandoah National Park and the Nearby Blueridge Mountains. (SME's) goal is to provided their guest the opportunity to "escape" their daily routine in life and find "peace and Adventure in Nature"
