Also included in this wonderful escape is the observation tower located atop the cottage. This nicely decorated viewing room gives you a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and forest. Each Cottage maintains its own sitting room and private deck for those quiet moments. Shadow Mountain Escape is located on 15 secluded acres conveniently nestled against the Shenandoah National Park, with its private pond and natural stream you will be in awe with the beauty of its surroundings. In the evening the ONLY lights you will see are from the stars and your cabin! It's a spectacular view not to be missed! Shadow Mountain Escape's cabins can be rented together or separately to suit your group size. 
    Shadow Mountain Escape is a three Timber Frame Structures and is cleverly designed with no wall shared between the two independent dwellings. (SME) provides its guest with a completely unique environment provided by the beauty of the Shenandoah National Park and the Nearby Blueridge Mountains.
